2007 FGB II INFO

This September CrossFit Central presents FIGHT GONE BAD, our 2nd Annual Prostate Cancer Foundation Fundraiser. We are teaming up with Athletes for a Cure to help bring awareness to our community and raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

"Fight Gone Bad," originally designed for a professional fighter, is a combination of five different exercises done in three rounds of one minute each. Participants, by competing as an individual or as apart of teams, will have the opportunity to complete this demanding workout and help raise money for a great cause! The Event Will Be Scaled To ALL Fitness Levels!

WHEN: Saturday, September 29th 8am-12pm

WHERE: Whole Foods 2nd floor Pavilion Map It!

Why You Should Help:

  • Prostate cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death for men
  • This year prostate cancer will affect 1 in 6 men
  • A man is 33% more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than a woman is breast cancer

COST:

$150 per participant

$300 - 3 person relay ($100 per person)

How You Can Help:

There are several ways you can help out! You can register for the Fight Gone Bad Event, make a General Donation, or if you would like to volunteer for the event day email fightgonebad@crossfitcentral.com

The Workout:

On September 29th athletes committed to the Fight Gone Bad workout will move from each of five stations after one minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating.

The Event Will Be Scaled To ALL Fitness Levels!

The Stations:

Wall-ball
Deadlift high-pull
Box jump
Push-press
Row

This event calls for 3 rounds. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athletes must move to next station immediately for optimal score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.
